Knitwear is one of the ultimate autumn/winter fashion staples in most people’s wardrobe and it’s a great way to keep warm in the colder months.
For most people jumpers are the only type of knitwear they think of buying to have in their wardrobe and they don’t really consider anything else. Don’t get me wrong I love a jumper and there are some great jumpers available with slogans, embellishment, patterns and some plain with soft cosy textures in all different colours. However, there are other ways knitwear can be worn.
My favourite type of knitwear to wear in the autumn/winter must be a jumper dress. It’s my ‘go to’ knitwear because whether it’s fitted or oversized, they are effortlessly stylish and cosy. Team with ankle boots or Over the Knee Boots and you will be turning heads for all the right reasons.
Knitted skirts are also another option, there are knitted minis, midis and maxi length skirts. Some of knitted skirts come as a co-ord with matching tops – which just looks so chic and classy when worn for a day or evening look.
There are many style options available and if you are vegan like myself and don’t wear wool, then I think you will be even more impressed with options out there. Gone are the days when you must sacrifice your style for ethics and function for ill-fitting itchy knitwear.
