​Fried Dumplings​

Ingredients: 28 small–medium dumplings and serves 6–8 people

500g Doves Farm gluten free self-raising flour

350ml of water

Pinch of salt

1 tbsp brown sugar

3 tbsp coconut oil

Method

1 Put the flour in a bowl along with the brown sugar, and salt then mix.

2 Then add the water. Mix the flour into the water and knead until it forms dough – and all the flour has gone from the sides of the bowl.

3 Break off a piece of dough and in your hand roll into a ball. Then with ball in one hand use the bottom of your other hand and press in the middle, then shape in your hand to make sure it is round and place on kitchen paper repeat the process until all the dough has finished.

4 Heat a large frying pan on a medium temperature and add the coconut oil.

5 Place the dumplings in the frying pan away from you.

6 Turning frequently remove the dumpling from the pan when it is golden in colour and the middle in cooked. Then serve and enjoy.
